Graduate students, undergraduate students and postdoctoral fellows of the University of Toronto are covered by the CUPE 3902 Unit 1 collective agreement rather than the Unit 3 collective agreement, and should not apply for positions posted under Unit 3 collective agreement.
The jobs are posted in accordance with the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement. It is understood that some announcements of vacancies are tentative, pending final course determinations and enrolment.
As of May 01, 2024, the minimum stipend is $9,457.90 (inclusive of vacation pay) for a half credit course. Salary may be prorated based on the appointment percentage. Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.
Preference in hiring is given to qualified individuals advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II or Sessional Lecturer III in accordance with Article 14:12 of the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 collective agreement.

If you have submitted an application, you may view your application status and any applicable contracts by logging in with your UTORid in the Sessional Lecturer Applications system.
You can apply for multiple positions. The "View" link under Actions allows you to review the details of the position, at the bottom of the form is also an apply button for this position. The checkbox on the left allows you to select all the positions to which you would like to apply. As you make your selections, a button called "Apply for Selected Positions" will appear at the top.
